On Sunday, May 24, 2015, the 20th Mangialonga will take place in Levanto.
Mangialonga is wine-and-food walk through the trails of the valley of Levanto featuring stops in various villages, with tastings of tradition local cuisine and musical entertainment. This popular event takes place on the third Sunday in May every year.
Route: Levanto Piazza Cavour - Ridarolo - Fontona - Chiesanuova - Legnaro - San Bartolomeo - Pastine - Vignana - Lerici - Levanto Piazza Staglieno.
Menü: Focaccia with onion, bread baked in a wood oven with typical ligurian salami, typical rice pie, minestrone (Ligurian vegetable soup), ribs with beans, a salad of octopus and patatoes, raw beans with pecorino cheese, chestnut fritters, locally produced wine, sweet and coffee.
Limit: 1000 participants (reserve your ticket in advance)
Meeting-place: at 9.30 in Levanto Piazza Cavour, with groups leaving until 11 am
Price: adults: 25 €, children from 6-12 years: 15 €, children under 6 years: free.
