  • Current situation of the Cinque Terre footpaths

On this page you will find information about the current condition of the Cinque Terre hiking trails.
During the winter months, some (not all) hiking trails are closed due to maintenance work. Especially the Monterosso - Vernazza and Vernazza - Corniglia trails are often closed in winter due to landslides.
There are always alternative trails open. For example, the Levanto - Monterosso, Manarola - Volastra - Corniglia trails and the higher trails are almost always open. Upon arrival, please contact one of the Cinque Terre tourist offices for more information about alternative trails.
