Vernazza is one of the Cinque Terre villages absolutely worth visiting. It is a small town where everything can be reached in a few steps, in a small space it is a cluster of pastel-coloured houses, small streets called alleys, monuments, churches, small shops and shops.

The Guglielmo Marconi square

Via Roma
The main street of Vernazza crosses the town from the train station to the marina with bars, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, wineries and souvenir shops.
The Doria Castle
The Doria castle is a medieval fortress from the 13th century, located near the town's small port.
Its cylindrical tower offers visitors a wonderful 360-degree view of Vernazza with a panorama of the sea and the other villages of the Cinque Terre. Inside the castle houses a museum.
The beaches of Vernazza

The two paths from Vernazza to Corniglia and from Vernazza to Monterosso
For trekking lovers, the path from Vernazza to Corniglia is full of views of the sea. After the first slightly more demanding uphill stretch, halfway there is a small refreshment bar and a view that repays the effort made. Continuing, in the final part, you can admire a beautiful view of Corniglia.
The path from Vernazza to Monterosso is also recommended, in the initial stretch you can admire a stupendous view of Vernazza and its characteristic marina. This is followed by up and down stretches with flat stretches, finally a descent with a long staircase towards Monterosso through olive groves and crops.

The church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia
The church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia, built on an old Romanesque building, is in Ligurian Gothic style and is located adjacent to the small port of Vernazza. Small with spartan interiors, in an original location, it is definitely worth a visit.
