Cinque Terre Italy

The Manarola Nativity Scene, the largest nativity scene in the world, will be lit again on Friday 8 December 2023 and will remain lit until 14 January 2024.

More than 200 figures made with recycled materials and thousands of lights will illuminate the hills of Manarola in the Cinque Terre. This year is the 62nd edition of the nativity scene, the first year without the creator Mario Andreoli.

2.30pm Concert by the Giacomo Puccini Band

3.00 pm - 4.00 pm Educational workshop for children: "Let's learn together the art of Mario Andreoli's luminous nativity scene". 

3.30pm - 6.30pm Opening of the Piè del Campu Mill (Radici Association)

4pm Piazza Chiesa San Lorenzo; Dario Vergassola interviews Oscar Farinetti (Tourism initiative within the "A sea of speeches" Festival).

5.30pm Church of San Lorenzo, Gospel Concert with the group The Smiling Face Choir

5.30 pm Torchlight procession of the CAI La Spezia
