Cinque Terre boat timetable and prices

The ferries are running between the Cinque Terre villages from March 25 until November 1, 2023.

Enjoy the views of the Cinque Terre by taking the boat along this stunning coastline with its beautiful scenery.

The ferries are running frequently from the ports of Levanto, La Spezia and Portovenere to the villages of the Cinque Terre and stop in Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The ferry does not stop in Corniglia since this is the only village without water access.

We recommend you to buy a one-day roundtrip ticket which costs 39 euros for adults and 15 euros for children. This ticket allows you to take unlimited ferries and hop on and off where you like. There are also half-day tickets, valid from 12 pm, which cost 28 euros for adults and 15 euros for children.

There are also connections to Lerici, Deiva Marina, Moneglia, Versilia and to the island of Palmaria.

Cinque Terre ferry boat prices 2023

The best way is to buy the boat tickets before departure at the ticket counters located near the docking points. We do not recommend you to purchase the boat tickets online in advance. The boat service can be suspended at any time due to bad weather conditions, for example high waves.

We recommend you to buy a one-day roundtrip ticket for Cinque Terre which costs 39 euros/day for adults and 15 euros/day for children and allows you to take unlimited ferries and hop on and off where you like. There are also afternoon tickets valid from 12 pm.

Cinque Terre boat docking points

3 islands round trip

Admire from the sea the unique beauty of the Portovenere archipelago and the islands of Palmaria, Tino, and Tinetto. Departure from La Spezia, Lerici and Portovenere.
From Portovenere departures at 12 and 3pm. Duration: 45 minutes.
Additional cost: 5 euros if you have the one-day ticket.

Boats from Versilia to the Cinque Terre

The are also boat connections from Viareggio, Marina di Massa and Carrara to the Cinque Terre. The service includes a stop of one hour in Portovenere and 3 hours to visit Monterosso. This boat service is available from June 25 until September 11.

The ticket from Viareggio to Portovenere and back costs 30 euros for adults and 10 euros for children from 6 to 11 years old. You have to pay a supplement if you want to continue to Cinque Terre.

Departure from Viareggio at 8.45, Marina di Massa at 9.30 and Marina di Carrara at 10.00. Arrival Portovenere at 11.00

Departure from Portovenere at 17.00, Marina di Carrara at 17.40 and Marina di Massa at 18.00. Arrival Viareggio at 18.45

Boats from Deiva Marina and Moneglia to Cinque Terre

The boat service from Deiva Marina and Moneglia is active from July 1st until September 15 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

In the morning from Moneglia (9:20 am) and Deiva Marina (9:30 am) to Levanto (10:00), Monterosso (10:30), Vernazza (10:40), Manarola (11:00), Riomaggiore ( 11:15) and Portovenere (11:50).

Return from Portovenere (4:00 pm), Riomaggiore (4:35 pm), Manarola (4:45 pm), Vernazza (5:05 pm), Monterosso (5:10 pm) and Levanto (5:50 pm) arriving at 6:20 pm in Deiva Marina and at 18:30 in Moneglia.

Boats to San Fruttuoso and Portofino

You can reach Portofino and the Abbey of San Fruttuoso by boat from Camogli, Santa Margherita and Rapallo. For more information: Servizio Marittimo Tigullio.

Dogs on the Cinque Terre boats

Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board on the Cinque Terre boats and travel free of charge without the need for any ticket. They must have a leash and muzzle. Small dogs must be kept in bags or carriers. For more information, I recommend you to ask at the docking points or at the Park information centers.
