Cinque Terre Italy

Drones are not allowed to fly in the Cinque Terre as the National Park is a no fly zone. If you get caught by local authorities your drone may be confiscated and charges will be pressed.

Drone use is allowed in Italy, but it is very strict compared to many other countries, and there are several drone laws that need to be followed when flying in the country.

The whole area of the Cinque Terre National Park is a no fly zone and the use of drones is forbidden, even for those who are in possession of an ENAC license and possess the authorization to carry out critical operations. It is prohibited in the whole Cinque Terre National Park, in particular in the P2 area, see photo below.

In order to lift a drone in the Cinque Terre, a professional operator must not only obtain an ENAC license but must also obtain the permit directly from the Cinque Terre National Park.
