It is possible to reach Vernazza by car, even if the roads are narrow and curvy. Arriving by car can be very time consuming, but the views from the roads are stunning.
In Vernazza there are two main parking lots
1. The Vernassoa Parking is located on the provincial road number 51, on your left side aprox. 1 km before you reach Vernazza. This secure parking lot, with appr. 35 paid places, is open from 8am to 8pm. Other time on request. Rate: 2.50 euros/hour, 20 euros/day. Shuttle service to Vernazza included. 2. You will find the Vernazza Parking, with 49 parking places, on your right side immediately after the Vernassoa Parking. Opening hours: from 10am to 10pm. Rate: 2.50 euros/hour, 20 euros/day. Shuttle service to Vernazza included. For reservation: Cell. +39 333 2677596.
From here do not try to drive further down the road as you will enter the ZTL area (only for residents) and fines can be rather high.
